At RIB'D, we believe food should be more than just a meal—it should be an experience. Born from a moment of necessity and rooted in Southern heritage, our rubs and sauces are crafted to bring bold, layered flavor to everything you cook.
From slow-smoked ribs to weeknight pasta, RIB'D Rub and RIB'D Sauce are designed to go far beyond the grill. Whether you're feeding a crowd or cooking solo, our products are your invitation to get creative, cook with heart, and taste the difference heritage makes.
Our Story
RIB'D began with a moment of panic in the kitchen. I was getting ready for a family barbecue when I realized I had no rub, no sauce, and very little time. So I turned to the spice cabinet, pulled what I had, and started mixing.
That quick improvisation turned into something bigger. What started as a makeshift blend ended up being a crowd favorite, and everyone who tasted it said the same thing: “You’ve got to sell this.”
Although RIB'D took shape in Alabama, its roots trace back to my hometown of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. It's a small place surrounded by strawberry fields, bayous, and trees draped in Spanish moss. I come from a Creole background—a culture shaped by French, Spanish, African, and Canary Islander influences. That history is woven into the flavors we make today.
RIB'D Rub and RIB'D Sauce aren’t strictly Cajun or Creole, but you’ll find hints of both. More than anything, they reflect a love for food and a belief that every meal should be memorable. Over the years, people have used RIB'D on everything from ribs and chicken to pasta, vegetables, and even pizza. The flavor is layered, flexible, and full of character—just like the place it comes from.
